Celebrate Good Times! Come on!

My sister Ashley is officially engage to be married to Will Rudicill. Now, that spelling is a guess, so.... I'm going to have to learn how to spell her new name.
This picture was taken 2 days after they shared the news. When I got wind that the big questions was coming her way I thought to myself 'How would I hope somebody would react to my engagement? or What would Ashley and Will hope?'. So I decided I should react with much enthusiasm and celebration ie: squeals, clapping of hands, jumping up and down, hugs all around, and not to hold back my true excitement.

I just cried.

I probably hugged Will for too long and Ashley probably thought I misheard her saying 'I'm dying' not 'I'm getting married'. Oops! At least, I pulled myself together and gave her a high-five 2 days later!

10K

Oliver is a naturally talented runner. I've always told him so. He is built beautifully for it. When we dated in high school I ran cross country. Even at the peak of my conditioning if Oliver and I went running together I would be pushing myself to the limit and he would literally run circles around me, or even better backwards while telling me jokes. Now, he runs from time to time but his schedule doesn't allow him much consistency. Well, one week ago with zero training he decided he was going to run a 10K. So he crammed in 3 runs this past week to "train" and headed out to his first race today. Whose first race is a 10K! As you could expect he did wonderful. I'm proud of him. Can you tell with all my bragging? But what else can I say? He's great.

NIKE Plus

Oliver walks in the door after a run the other night. Out of breath, he smiles, takes off his headphones, and says,
"Tiger Woods voice came over my headphones tonight; he told me I did a great job!"

Kyra whips around and yells, "What were you doing out there!"
